About the event
Welcome to the Pilgrimage for Grace - a three-day walking pilgrimage from the Shrine of Our Lady of Caversham in Berkshire to the Tower of London from Saturday 1st May to bank holiday Monday 3rd May 2027, with options to participate in other ways on the final day.
1st - 3rd May 2027 will be a pilot pilgrimage. Only 100 pilgrims - in four Chapters of 25 - will walk the 50 miles from Caversham to London on 1st-3rd May 2027. A further 300 will be able join them at the Tower at 2 pm on Monday 3rd May, having started from nearer points of the compass. Even larger numbers will be involved in future years.
