Pilgrimage for Grace 2027

One hundred pilgrims, aged 12 and above, will trudge 50 miles over three days, from Reading in Berkshire to Tower Hill in London, there to be joined by other pilgrims coming on the last day, to sing a glorious Benediction and Te Deum celebrating Catholic martyrdom.

About the event

Welcome to the Pilgrimage for Grace 2027. One hundred pilgrims - in four Chapters of 25 - will walk the 50 miles from Reading to London on 1st-3rd May 2027. Other clergy, pilgrims and volunteers will join with them at Tower Hill on Bank Holiday Monday 3rd May for Sung Benediction and Te Deum at 3 pm, in honour of Our Blessed Lady and the English martyrs.

  • 3-Day Walker

    Congratulations - you are one of the 100 Pilgrim Walkers who will trudge 50 miles, from Reading Abbey Ruins to London's Tower Hill, bearing an image of Our Blessed Lady and praying for the return of the English nation to the Old Faith. Entrance to all venues and to the Pilgrimage's closing liturgy is included.

      This ticket is for all priests and religious attending the pilgrimage in any capacity or for adults working behind the scenes as volunteers on 1st-3rd May 2027.

      For those joining the pilgrimage on Monday 3rd May 2027 only. Assemble outside the Tower of London at 2 pm or earlier at one of the published start points beforehand. Entry to the Pilgrimage's closing liturgy is included.
